Release Feature Settings Guide

This page covers smaller release-note features and where to configure them.

Wrapped Desktop Menu​

Location:

  • Online Store -> Themes -> Customize -> Header -> Menu block -> Desktop layout

Setting:

  • Show all menu items

Behavior:

  • When enabled, menu items wrap to a new line instead of collapsing into a More dropdown.
  • Useful for stores with many top-level links.

Note:

  • Wrapping can increase header height.

Disable Variant Auto-Selection​

Location:

  • Online Store -> Themes -> Customize -> Theme settings -> Variant pickers

Setting:

  • Disable variant auto-selection

Behavior:

  • Customers must manually choose a variant before adding to cart.
  • Product media stays on default media until a variant is selected.

Fancy Image/Text Video Controls​

Location:

  • Online Store -> Themes -> Customize -> Fancy Image Text section

Required:

  1. Set Media type to Video for Media 1 and/or Media 2.
  2. Upload video(s).

Related settings:

  • Loop video (per media item)
  • Mute videos by default (section-level video setting)

Behavior:

  • The section includes built-in play/pause and mute/unmute controls for video media.

Location:

  • Online Store -> Themes -> Customize -> Swiper Carousel section

Setting:

  • Vertical alignment

Options:

  • Top
  • Center
  • Bottom
  • Stretch

Also available:

  • Raise center card
  • Center card shadow

Collection List: Show Hat Lab Card​

Location:

  • Online Store -> Themes -> Customize -> Collection list section

Settings group:

  • Hat Lab Card

Key settings:

  • Show Hat Lab card
  • Card title
  • Card image
  • Position in list
  • Layout, border, shadow, and title style options

Behavior:

  • Inserts a dedicated Hat Lab card into the collection list.

Product and Collection Card Title Alignment​

Location:

  • In sections that render product or collection cards, open the relevant title block:
    • Product title block
    • Collection title block

How to enable alignment control:

  1. Set Width to Fill (100%).
  2. Set Alignment (left, center, right).

Note:

  • The alignment setting appears when width is set to fill.

Gradient Overlay on Product/Collection List Backgrounds​

Location:

  • Online Store -> Themes -> Customize
    • Product list section, or
    • Collection list section

Steps:

  1. Enable section background media (image/video) if needed.
  2. Enable overlay.
  3. Set Overlay style to Gradient.
  4. Choose Gradient direction.

Logo Sizing (Migration Note)​

Location:

  • Online Store -> Themes -> Customize -> Theme settings -> Logo and favicon

Settings:

  • Desktop height (minimum 50px)
  • Mobile height

Important note for non-GitHub/manual theme updates:

  • Keep schema and settings_data values aligned with the current logo height limits.
  • If older data has invalid values, update logo heights in Theme settings and save.
