Background Texture Guide

The background texture feature lets you apply a repeating texture image across key theme areas.

Where to Find It​

Go to:

  • Online Store -> Themes -> Customize -> Theme settings -> Effects

Then open the Background Texture settings.

Setup​

  1. Upload Texture image.
  2. Enable where it should appear:
    • Show texture in main background
    • Show texture in header
    • Show texture in footer
    • Show texture in announcement bar
    • Show texture in container backgrounds
  3. Save.

Best File Type​

Use a seamless, transparent image:

  • PNG or SVG
  • Subtle pattern
  • Tile-ready (seamless edges)
  • Main background: On
  • Header: On (or Off if using transparent headers)
  • Footer: On
  • Announcement bar: On
  • Container backgrounds: Off initially, then enable if your design needs more texture coverage

Troubleshooting​

  • Texture looks too strong: use a lighter pattern file.
  • Texture seams visible: use a seamless tile source.
  • Header looks busy: disable Show texture in header.
